The proposed ban on nitrous oxide and NPS such as 3MMC is still pending, according to Justice Minister Ferd Grapperhaus and State Secretary Paul Blokhuis in a letter to the Lower House. According to the senior gentlemen in The Hague, the extra enforcement required for this ban will create so much pressure that enforcement and the police would not be able to cope because there is not enough money available from the government. 

The legislative changes for NPS and nitrous oxide have been ready for quite some time, but they are not yet practically feasible. This means that the ban is certainly not expected before spring 2022.
