{"id":232,"date":"2021-01-09T18:56:00","date_gmt":"2021-01-09T17:56:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/3-mmckopen.nl\/?page_id=232"},"modified":"2025-12-04T15:31:44","modified_gmt":"2025-12-04T14:31:44","slug":"over-3mmc-kopen","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/3-mmckopen.nl\/en\/over-3mmc-kopen\/","title":{"rendered":"About 3MMC"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-wat-is-3mmc\"><strong>What is 3MMC?<\/strong><\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\"><strong>3MMC (also called &#039;Poes&#039; or &#039;3m&#039;) is usually sold as a crystalline white powder. Finally, 3MMC has been around since 2012<\/strong> already on the market. This is very short and is therefore also called an NPS. On the other hand, about this NPS is <strong>very little known. Often there is still<\/strong> <strong>little or no research has been done. So there is also little knowledge about 3MMC.<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\">3MMC lijkt erg op zijn grote broer\u00a04-MMC\u00a0(\u2018Mephedrone\u2019 of \u2018Miauw\u2019). Dat wil niet zeggen dat de effecten en risico\u2019s hetzelfde zijn. In 2012 werd 4-MMC verboden en werd 3MMC als alternatief verkocht.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"block-af3ebca5-0170-4ed6-b3f0-045ae9e6b74b\"><strong>How many people use 3MMC in the Netherlands?<\/strong><\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\">Er is (nog) niet onderzocht hoeveel mensen in Nederland 3-MMC gebruiken. Wel zijn er tekens dat het gebruik stijgt en er vaker\u00a0vergiftigingen\u00a0voorkomen. Het is opvallend dat de signalen van stijgend gebruik veel uit dezelfde regio\u2019s komen. Dit doet vermoeden dat gebruik minder verspreid is door Nederland en dat gebruikers vaak uit dezelfde plaatsen komen.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\">Uit\u00a0Het Grote Uitgaansonderzoek 2020\u00a0blijkt dat er duidelijke tekenen zijn voor een stijging in het gebruik van 3MMC. In 2020 gaf 8,9% van de onderzochte uitgaanders aan in het afgelopen jaar wel eens 3-MMC gebruikt te hebben. Het gebruik ooit in het leven (11%) lag daar dicht bij, wat een aanwijzing is dat de meeste gebruikers pas geleden voor het eerst 3MMC hebben gebruikt. Informatie uit andere Trimbos-onderzoeken wijst ook voorzichtig op een stijging in het gebruik van 3MMC.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"block-af3ebca5-0170-4ed6-b3f0-045ae9e6b74b\"><strong>Operation of 3MMC<\/strong><\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\">De effecten van kunnen wat lijken op die van\u00a0MDMA\u00a0en\u00a0coca\u00efne. Gebruikers voelen zich alert, blij en voelen vervolgens geen vermoeidheid. Ze hebben vaak behoefte om contact te maken met anderen. Ook ervaren ze ten slotte meer zelfvertrouwen en soms meer zin in seks.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"block-af3ebca5-0170-4ed6-b3f0-045ae9e6b74b\"><strong>Risks of 3MMC<\/strong><\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\">No studies have yet been done on the risks of 3MMC in humans. But it is clear that high doses and combination use with other drugs or alcohol increase the risks. Users of this drug are therefore their own guinea pigs.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\">Some users also indicate that the use can give a severe hangover: a tired feeling due to not sleeping and not eating enough\/not eating.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"block-af3ebca5-0170-4ed6-b3f0-045ae9e6b74b\"><strong>Addiction<\/strong><\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\">Finally, you can become addicted to 3-MMC. It is suspected that 3MMC is more addictive than other drugs. This is probably because users experience a strong &#039;craving&#039; during use. A craving is a strong urge to use or use more.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"block-af3ebca5-0170-4ed6-b3f0-045ae9e6b74b\"><strong>Legislation<\/strong><\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\">At the moment, 3-MMC is not yet banned. 3MMC currently falls under the Commodities Act. However, the government is working on a law that will ban groups of NPS at once. 3-MMC and a lot of other NPS would be banned with that.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\">The information provided is therefore not intended as advice and can therefore not be assessed as such.
